Happy Throwback Thursday Everyone! Back in July 2012, I had the opportunity to be a model in the 16th Annual Nigerian Reunion Convention Afrofusion 2: Rippin The Runway Fashion Show 2012. I had such an amazing time!
As most of you might know, ankara print fabrics are colorful cloths that are primarily associated with the African culture because of it’s motifs. Even though ankara print fabrics are associated with the African culture, it’s origins are not authentically and wholly African.
I linked up with Eugene Maddy of Get Boxed for an Ankara Print editorial photoshoot! The photoshoot was an assignment for a photography class at his school Prince Georges Community College in Largo, Maryland.
Way up, I feel blessed. All Things Ankara Fashion Week 2015 was an ultimate success. I decided to wear an Ankara Print cape and capri jumpsuit for the occasion. The outfit was designed by yours truly.
